VMS SouRCe™ Modules

Reimagining surveillance for a new modern era.

Unisight VMS Platform

Our surveillance software is grouped together by general function. At the center of it all are the Core modules, the minimum you'll need to get up and running. Then you can scale out your deployment with the Monitoring center modules. Since you're up and running, and you know all the basics, now it's time to get technical with the Network management modules. You're almost done, the final build-out step is to run any Additional modules as needed.

Data Center

The Data Center is the heart of the Enterprise platform, the centralized component that other modules depend on.

Storage Center

The Storage Center records the incoming video feeds from the front-end surveillance cameras and provides live view and playback to the Client app.

Client App

The Client application offers live view, alarm monitoring, playback & backup; and is the primary application which users interact with.

CMS App

The CMS application controls and configures the information in the Data Center - such as video devices, video walls, and global users.

Digital Matrix

The Digital Matrix allows you to build a virtual video wall displaying live video that reacts to the current situation.

Advanced Unit

The Advanced Unit will synchronize the time on your video server systems, even across differing geographical time zones.

Map Server

The Map Server hosts a set of graphical maps served to the Client & CMS modules to provide a sense of locational awareness to the operator.

IP Alarm Gateway

The IP Alarm Gateway supplies a technology bridge between your access control and VMS to expand the capabilities of your surveillance platform.

Streaming Proxy

The Streaming Proxy has several functions including bandwidth requirement offloading and smartphone video translation so you're always connected.

DDNS

The DDNS module offers a resolver that provides a practical solution to utilize hostnames within a DHCP based network schema.

DNS Delivery

The DNS Delivery module is the second component of the hostname solution that reports any changes in IP addressing to the DDNS module.

Cloud Backup

The Cloud Backup module downloads an alarm clip, converts it to a universal format, then uploads it to a cloud storage location, such as an FTP server.

Video Converter

The Video Converter module provides a user friendly method of converting the native secure *.MPK video files to a universal .AVI video file.

Watermark Authentication

The Watermark Authentication module allows you to verify the authenticity of recorded video assets to prove they haven't been tampered with.

Mobile Apps

The Android & iOS mobile apps let you see live and playback video wherever you are for surveillance anywhere!

From Small To Large

Scalability

Each feature pack in the Unisight VMS platform is encapsulated within an individual module. You only need to run the necessary modules for your individual surveillance deployments - thus reducing system resource requirements and minimizing your installation footprint. This reduces the total cost of ownership by keeping hardware costs down and maintenance to a minimum. As the need for larger and more feature rich installations progress, you can simply build on the core Unisight VMS modules and scale out from there. From small to large, the Unisight VMS is designed to give you what you need.

For When It Matters

Reliability

Bypassing the standard paradigm of all-in-one applications, the Unisight VMS modules allow you to eliminate single point of failure bottlenecks. Running multiple VMS modules in parallel is the best practice for critical system functions which provides HA (High Availability) when needed. A major design flaw afflicting many competing VMS bundles is to incporporate failover to the low-level applications themselves, but what if there's a problem with the OS or another piece of software? The design engineers at Unisight have solved this by elevating the redundancy to the correct controller - not the last link in the chain, aka the VMS app, but rather the host OS itself, this bit of advanced engineering lets you run clusters of VMS hypervisors to protect against physical, logical, and communication anomalies.

Metting Your Needs

Customizability

You may be familiar with procedures like step 1, step 2, etc. to configure a feature, however, the Unisight VMS platform diverges from the industry standard of linear configuration. We offer a virtual toolbox of modules that you can mix and match to create regular reactions or truly unique functionality not possible in any other platform. With the experience that Unisight has gained in all manners of industry we can make sure you meet all requirements and comply with necessary regulations.
