Watermark Authentication

The Unisight VMS employs a proprietary video container format, our *.MPK format. This container not only includes the compressed video itself, but also encapsulates other types of data - including a digital watermark. This watermark is encrypted into the video file and can be verified through the Watermark Authentication module. This provides a method to check a source video file to see if it has been tampered with. If it passes the watermark authentication test then the video file is authentic, has not been tampered with, and can be used as admissible evidence.
